Don't know if anyone was watching yesterday but Bush stepped down and Obama stepped up. I didn't catch it but I picked it up during the lunch when one senator got ill and another went into seizures. I believe the one who went into seizures was Ted Kennedy? Anyway, I guess all we can do now is wait and see what happens.

Yes it was Ted Kennedy that collapsed during the luncheon. i haven't heard anything about his condition today.

Correct now we just wait and see. i do think his parties being the most expensive ever sends a message. Can you say hypocrite? LOL

Oh yeah, that blackberry thing cost over 3 grand? lol I would think people would be nitpicking up and down every penny they are spending on him except what would help the people themselves. But no one is. They are just eating it all up.
I had to laugh because last night they were naming off the prices of that Meryl Lynch guy and what he paid to redecorate his office? 35 thousand for a toilet or something and then they made a quick reference that Obama now had him redoing their family room in the White House. I thought, ok---we are b*tching because this Meryl Lynch guy paid this costly decorator but everyone is excited that he is now doing the white house? lol
THEN the highlight of the day which they didn't show during the press conference but showed later that night on Lou Dobbs (thanxs Lou) was a reporting asking the speaker "Since Obama is putting a pay freeze on the paychecks of those who work for the white house...is he taking one as well?" THAT one got majorly dodged.

I hope people get passed this rock star savior stuff and the excitement that he is the first black president soon and start watching him closely and demanding that he act as the president he said he would be. Our economy is still in trouble and I don't know about everyone else BUT shutting down a prison and saying no torture wasn't at the top of the list of things I hoped would get done.
Waiting to see though.
